Handcrafted hypertufa planters
and garden art
W elcome to my site! My name is Lisa and I am a
certified Master Gardener with a background in concrete. It only
seemed natural that with my passion for plants and gardening,
along with my experience in concrete; I would enjoy making
hypertufa planters. It all started with the creation of simply
styled pieces that I filled with plants to decorate my home and
patio. Once friends and family saw them, they just had to have
some of their own. For the past couple of years I have been
working at a local wholesale greenhouse where my planters and
other garden accessories have become a big hit with many of
the garden center customers.

"What is hypertufa?" you ask. Hypertufa is a mixture of cement,
peat moss, perlite and water that makes a very lightweight and
realistic stone looking product. Soon I realized that I could use
this mixture to make beautiful birdbaths, decorative garden
stones, mushrooms, sundials and much more. Some of which I
have added beautiful looking cast iron pieces to, which really
add a nice touch. Others I leave plain for a more simple look.
Each one is hand formed to create a beautiful and unique
piece. I think you will be very happy with the craftsmanship and
attention to detail that I put into each and every item.

Because my products are so lightweight, you can easily move
them around your garden, or bring them in for the winter if you
live in an area with freezing temperatures.
